Recently, Shandong Port took the lead and participated in the preparation of the group standard "Near-Zero Carbon Port Area" by the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, the Water Transport Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Liaoning Port Group Co., Ltd., China Classification Society Quality Certification Co., Ltd. Construction Technical Requirements" (hereinafter referred to as the "Standards"), was officially issued and implemented by the China Institute of Navigation.
The "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Modern Integrated Transportation System" issued by the State Council clearly proposes to implement green and low-carbon transformation actions for transportation and promote the construction of near-zero carbon transportation demonstration zones. Shandong Port resolutely implements the national "double carbon" strategy and the needs of green and low-carbon transformation and development of transportation, actively implements the requirements for the construction of green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot areas in Shandong Province, explores the path to build near-zero carbon port areas, and continuously improves collection and distribution. We have achieved positive results by operating the system, adjusting the energy supply structure, optimizing energy use methods, and improving equipment and technology.
The standard is based on the green and low-carbon construction experience of Shandong ports Qingdao Port, Rizhao Port, Yantai Port and Bohai Bay Port, and is fully consistent with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) "Net Zero Guidelines" international In line with the standards, the basic principles and overall requirements for the construction of near-zero carbon port areas are put forward, as well as technical requirements for carbon emission accounting, carbon emission reduction measures, carbon emission monitoring, evaluation and improvement, which are applicable to new and near-zero carbon port areas along the coast. Renovation, expansion, operation and management.
In the next step, Shandong Port will continue to play a leading role as a leading enterprise in the construction of near-zero carbon port areas, radiating and driving the construction of near-zero carbon transportation demonstration zones across the country. At the same time, it actively undertakes the Ministry of Transport's "Research on a Series of Standards for Technical Requirements for the Construction of Near-Zero Carbon Transportation Demonstration Zones" project, and based on the standards, researches and compiles industry standards for the construction of near-zero carbon port areas.
