Answer:
1) The dead weight is extremely large, often close to the wet-paste limit weight of 64kg/m², which places extremely high requirements on the bonding strength between the screed layer and the concrete base layer.
2) Sensitive to moisture. Under the influence of water vapor and alkalinity, swelling and shrinkage with moisture can easily lead to virtual stickiness, watermarks, and alkali efflorescence. The adhesive is required to have high initial strength, low alkalinity, and a short opening time. Six sides need to be painted with a waterproof and breathable special protective agent before leaving the factory.
Note:
1. Some stones have back coating materials, and the adaptability of the adhesive and back coating materials needs to be considered.
2. Some special white or green stones are not suitable for pasting with cement-based materials, and resin-based materials must be used.
