BMTS Serbia factory is officially put into operation, with an annual production capacity of 2 million pieces planned in the first phase

Recently, BMTS’s factory in Novi Sad, Serbia, was officially put into production. The first batch of products rolled off the production line on November 25, 2020. The factory will provide high-efficiency turbochargers for passenger cars and commercial vehicles as well as the best high-quality parts in the automotive industry. The planned annual production capacity in the first phase is 2 million pieces.
The new factory has ultra-high-precision processing and assembly equipment that can meet a variety of special technical and environmental requirements. The entire production process also includes an off-line testing process. In this test , every product is inspected for functionality and consistency before leaving the factory.
An important point in the establishment of the new factory is to inherit and implement the expertise and standards of the two existing factories in St. Michel, Austria and Breischach, Germany. Before the official start of production, about 70 new employees were trained at the factories in Austria and Germany to ensure that the new factory can provide cutting-edge quality products from the beginning.
In order to adapt to market demand, BMTS continues to expand its layout, and the commissioning of the Serbian factory has further improved it. Based on the cutting-edge green building project assessment system, the new factory has also obtained the BREEAM certificate (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
